Share

All women are born with diverse body shapes and sizes including their genitalia which is quite normal as illustrated on this link.

In recent years, an increasing number of women are opting for cosmetic vaginal procedures. There are a variety of reasons surrounding such a decision, which seem to mainly derive from a desire to enhance the appearance and function of this intimate area of the female anatomy.

Some women find that childbirth, weight loss/gain and the ageing process can affect the appearance of their genitalia. Or, that the vaginal lips are relatively enlarged, causing discomfort and pain while wearing tight-fitting clothing, or feeling embarrassed about how they look aesthetically.

These days, women understand that, if they wish to enhance the way they look in order to feel their best – they can! However, what they might not be aware of is, that cosmetic vaginal surgery is a minimally invasive procedure which is normally performed under a local anaesthetic.

There are a variety of issues that can be addressed at our clinic as follows:

  • Labiaplasty/Labioplasty: vaginal lips reduction
  • Vaginoplasty: vaginal reshaping and vaginal tightening either with a surgical or non-surgical laser
  • Labia and Mons Pubis Liposuction: outer vaginal lips and fat tissue over the pubic bone region reduction
  • G-Spot Enhancement
  • Hymenoplasty (reconstruction of the ruptured hymen to a pre-sexual state).

Benefits of having Advanced Cosmetic Surgery Of Vaginal

Some of the common conditions & indications for cosmetic vaginal procedures are:

What is a Mons Pubis Reduction procedure?

The Mons Pubis area is located over the pubic bone. The Mons Pubis can appear enlarged due to the deposition of excessive fat tissue. It can be more noticeable when naked or, when wearing lingerie or swimwear.

A Mons Pubis Reduction procedure involves the use of tumescent Liposuction/Liposculpture that removes excess fatty tissue in order to reshape the area to a desired contour.

This surgery is performed in the clinic’s procedure room. Under tumescent local anaesthesia, 2-3 small access incisions are made, then VASER LipoSelection is used for the removal of excess fat and promotion of skin retraction.

The procedure normally takes about 1 hour however, 1-2 hours observation is necessary prior to returning home.

There will be some bruising and swelling for a period of 1-2 weeks.

On Day 1 of Week 1 a post op follow-up with the doctor is required.

The final result takes about 3-6 months.

Mons Pubis Reduction cost: $2500.00 – $3000.00

What is a Labiaplasty/Labioplasty (vaginal lipsreduction)?

A Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure that can reduce and reshape the Labia Minora (vaginal inner lips) and/or Labia Majora (vaginal outerlips).

What is a Labia Minora Labiaplasty/Labioplasty (vaginal inner lips reduction)?

A Labia Minora Labiaplasty/Labioplasty is one of the most commonly requested cosmetic vaginal surgical proceduresinvolving the reshaping and size reduction of the Labia Minora.

There are considerable differences regarding the normal size and shape of the Labia Minora amongst women as illustrated on this link www.labialibrary.org.au.

Also, tears, deformities and stretches can result from physical, sexual activities, as well as genetics and during childbirth.

Many women are unhappy with the appearance of a large and bulging Labia Minora which, can also cause constant irritation and pain during sexual intercourse and wearing tight-fitting clothing.

A surgical labial reduction can greatly improve the cosmetic appearance and shape of a Labia Minora as well as reduce the discomfort caused during everyday activities.

Who should consider having a Labia Minora Labiaplasty?

Women that demonstrate physical symptoms including an undesirable shape and/or enlarged Labia Minora that is causing psychosocial issues.

Potential patients must be physically and emotionally stable having realistic expectations.

It is important to inform the treating doctor of any medical conditions, medications you are currently taking particularly, blood thinners e.g. Warfarin, Aspirin, Voltaren, Naprosyn, St John’s Wort, Vitamin E and Fish Oil.

These medicines can cause excessive bruising, bleeding or other complications.

What happens during the procedure?

A Labiaplasty is performed under local anaesthesia, nerve block, and twilight iv/im sedation.

A Labiaplasty procedure usually takes between 1-2 hours.

Designed incisional markings are made along the Labia’s natural folds and creases, to achieve the desired shape and create optimal aesthetic appearance and at the same time hiding the surgical scars.

Then, local anaesthesia is infiltrated with a small needle to numb the area, followed by the removal of excess skin tissue and reshaping of the Labia.

Finally, fine dissolvable sutures are placed close to close the skin edges together.

Prior to returning home with an accompanying adult, it is necessary to stay at the clinic for a recovery observation period for about 1-2 hours.

A Laser Vaginal Bleaching procedure typically takes about 45 minutes.

Initially, a local anaesthetic cream and an injection is administered to numb the treatment area, which is then followed by a laser application to peel off the superficial layer of skin.

The area is to be kept clean and dry for the first few days. During this time, topical creams are to be applied and oral prophylactic antibiotics taken.

For the initial 4-5 days the skin will be both sensitive and painful.
