What is VASER® Liposuction?
At Skinnotion, we are now offering the next generation Liposuction/Liposculpture procedures using the latest patented VASER® technology known as VASER® LipoSelection.
Every body type has areas that are predisposed to fat storage and, even with a rigorous diet and exercise, those unwanted bulges may often persist.
VASER® LipoSelection Liposuction is clinically proven to be a better alternative to traditional Liposuction. The reasons being, this technology gently removes unwanted fat and improves skin contraction to reveal a smoother new shape with faster recovery time.
VASER® Liposuction uses specific ultrasound waves to selectively break up the fat cells first, which are then removed using a gentle Liposuction technique.
Initially, small incisions are made in the natural skin folds or creases near the areas which have to be treated. Then a tumescent fluid, being a special numbing saline solution, is injected into the targeted area to numb it followed by shrinking the blood vessels to minimise blood loss and reduce bruising.
The fluid also expands the volume of the targeted area, which allows the VASER® to work and ease the removal of fat tissues later.
Next, a small VASER® probe which resonates at a high ultrasound frequency, is passed into the target area subcutaneous fat layer through the incision site.
The ultrasound frequency breaks apart fatty tissue and loosens the fat cells on contact while, preserving other important tissues including blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue.
Finally, the liquefied fat is removed through a gentle suction process designed to minimise damage to the surrounding tissues.
This innovative VASER® technology breaks up fat (liquefied or emulsified) while preserving the other important adjacent tissues leaving a far smoother and superior result that accelerates rapid healing.
Is VASER® Lipo right for me?
VASER® Lipo is for healthy patients who are frustrated by the resistance of certain body areas to diet and exercise, and seek a fast, low pain solution.
Patients who say they will have never considered traditional Liposuction are now finding that the VASER® Lipo procedure is a gentle alternative for body shaping.
VASER® Liposuction vs Conventional Liposuction and SmartLipo
VASER® Liposuction uses state of the art ultrasound technology designed to gently reshape your body.
What distinguishes the VASER® Lipo from other procedures, is its ability to differentiate targeted fat from other important tissues such as nerves, blood vessels and connective tissues.
Whilst concentrating its efforts to only break up fat, it preserves those important tissues to promote both smoother results and rapid healing.
A SmartLipo procedure uses energy laser beams to break down fat tissue, however, it may damage nearby blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue. In addition, it can accidentally burn through the skin as well as the bowel.
Conventional Liposuction uses a suction device to tear the surrounding tissue in order to remove unwanted fats. This may damage nearby tissue, blood vessels and may lead to pain, discomfort and bruising plus a possibly longer recovery period.
Advantages of the procedure
VASER® Liposuction is less traumatic than conventional Liposuction with less downtime.
The surgeon can precisely target unwanted fat using VASER® Lipo Selection, allowing the surgeon to perform Liposuction and Liposculpture with precision on specific areas of the body which may not be possible using other methods.
A VASER® Liposuction procedure allows superficial skin draping giving a smoother result and better skin contraction postoperatively.
A VASER® Liposuction technique is effective in reducing blood loss. This allows the treatment of areas, which have more fibrous tissue, areas that had Liposuction done previously and could potentially lead to higher blood loss.
What areas can be treated with this Technique?
Almost all body areas can be treated with VASER® Liposuction as follows:
- Face: reduce the full-face appearance;
- Jaw: define the jaw line, removal of jowl fat;
- Cheeks: reduce the buccal fat pads;
- Breasts: VASER® breast reduction in women and men (Gynaecomastia);
- Knees; and

VASER Hi Def and VASER 4D Sculpt
Skinnotion we are offering highly advanced body liposculpting techniques called VASER Hi Def and VASER 4D Sculpt for people want a more defined, contoured and natural athletic look. It is no doubt the most significant body contouring surgical procedure in recent years.
VASER Hi Def
What is it?
VASER Hi Def is a state-of-the-art body sculpting procedure which allows the creation of a more contoured and athletic appearance as compared to traditional VASER LipoSelection liposuction. The procedure removes both superficial and deep fat from around the musculature of the abs (six pack), pecs, obliques, lats, as well as other muscles of the trunk to give that ripped athletic look.
During the procedure, a local anesthesia is administered in the treatment area to numb the area and shrink the blood vessels. Ultrasound waves are then passed over the fat using a VASER probe to gently break down the fat cells. The surgeon then sculpts the muscular anatomy using a gentle suction process with minimal damage to the surrounding tissue.
The Results of VASER Hi Def
VASER Hi Def aims at making the underlying muscles more visible and well defined by chiseling out the muscle structures. The result is a well defined and sculpted body area, such as a highly defined upper and lower back, outlined abdominal flanks, 6 pack abs and prominent pectorals and upper arms. As oppose to men, women often prefer a soft athletic look like a defined muscles along the borders of the stomach, from the bust down to the groin, without the horizontal lines, waistlines can be sculpted into hour glass figures, and improve definition around the breasts.
VASER 4D Sculpt
What is it?
VASER 4D Sculpt is a newest highly improvement version of a popular VASER Hi Def, VASER 4D Sculpt integrate significant surgical artistic, anatomical and advanced technology.
It is a highly advanced body contouring procedure aimed at removing fat, shifting fat, defining underlying muscles, and taking into account natural muscle movements in relation to fat and connective tissues to give a youthful and natural dynamic athletic look.
VASER 4D Sculpt can help to transform and enhance your body permanently as it can be used on all body parts. It is very effective in sculpting upper arms, chest, abdomen, back, buttocks, and upper and back of legs.
During the VASER 4D Sculpt procedure, tumescent fluid is administered in the treatment area to numb the area and shrink the blood vessels. Ultrasound waves are then passed over the fat using a VASER probe to gently break down the fat cells. The surgeon with artistic eyes and knowledge of anatomy then sculpts the body in order to reveal the natural curves and defining the muscles. The removed fat may be used to inject into areas such as buttocks and chest to add volume and definition.
VASER 4D Sculpt results in a highly sculpted body with enhanced natural curves and athletic look. The result is expected long lasting.
What is the difference between VASER 4D Sculpt & VASER Hi Def?
Both VASER 4D Sculpt and VASER Hi Def are highly advanced body contouring techniques allowing you to have a more defined and athletic look. The subtle differences between them allow VASER 4D Sculpt to give a natural look to the body as compared to a bulky sculpture of VASER Hi Def.
VASER Hi Def does not take into consideration the natural progression of the body in motion, thus giving the body an etched appearance instead of a natural six-pack abs look. VASER 4D sculpt fixes this problem by taking into account the height, depth, width, and the dynamic motion of the muscles.
VASER Hi Def does not take into account that each body is unique and needs a customized procedure. VASER 4D Sculpt takes care of this problem as it takes into account various factors such as age, gender, predicted weight loss, body type, and muscular motion. This consideration of the patient’s unique body allows the surgeon to give every individual a natural look.
How soon will I see the results?
You would see instant results after your procedure. The results would further enhance over a period of about three months.
How much does it cost?
The cost of VASER liposuction depends upon the area being treated and the type of treatment being taken:
- Traditional liposuction cost from $2500
- A conventional VASER liposuction procedure cost from $3,500
- VASER Hi Def cost from $5,500.
- VASER 4D Sculpt cost from $8,500.

FAQs[expand title=”What happens if I gain weight after VASER® Liposuction?”]
Your treated areas should look good and retain their sculptured shape for as long as you remain the same weight. If you gain weight, you will generally gain it in areas that were not treated. The fat cells that are removed during a VASER® Liposuction procedure cannot be produced by the body again.
Excessive weight gain may lead to the expansion of other fat cells which will adversely affect the results of VASER® Liposuction.[/expand] [expand title=”Are there any side effects of VASER® Liposuction?”]
You may experience common side effects such as bruising, soreness and swelling after VASER® Liposuction.[/expand] [expand title=”What happens to the fat emulsified by VASER® Liposuction?”]
Most of the fat is suctioned out as it is the last step during the VASER® Liposuction Treatment.
