IV Therapy

IV vitamin infusions take a holistic approach to beauty, improving the skin’s health and glow by feeding the body with a powerhouse of essential vitamins, minerals, and other micronutrients. There are many different blends of IV infusions available, including a cocktail of nutrients specifically designed to reduce pigmentation and melasma.

How Do IV Vitamin Infusions Work?

During clinical rehydration or injury treatment, an intravenous saline drip solution is administered to replenish fluids and/or deliver medications into the body. In just the same way, IV fluids can be administered for the purposes of skin care and general health, delivering concentrated doses of micronutrient cocktails directly to the bloodstream. Cellular health and function is at its best when the body receives optimal amounts of certain essential compounds. And when this happens, not only are our key physiological functions at their best, so too is our skin. Our IV Pigmentation Infusions deliver a range of compounds which are known to have an impact on the pigmentation production pathways of the skin. By delivering these into the body, we can reduce these pigment-producing functions from the inside out. Combining this with topical skincare products to reduce pigment can have a powerful two-fold approach and maximise your chances of pigment removal and prevention.

Are There Risks?

IV Infusions are extremely effective, and administered only by experienced medical professionals. All of our infusions are rigorously tested and approved by the TGA, in line with other regulated injectable substances. As per typical IV administration as well as all injectable treatments, there is a risk of bruising, and some individuals may be more prone to bruising than others.

What Is Melasma?

Melasma is a pigmentary disorder, resulting in large clusters of pigment deposits in the skin. This is generally driven by hormonal activity, which is why melasma is so common during and after pregnancy. Melasma is also exacerbated by heat and sun exposure. These dense clusters of pigmentation can be very difficult to remove, and must be kept at bay with a strict home skincare routine as well as daily sunscreen application – even when indoors.
