What is Ultherapy?
As we aged, sagging, inelastic skin is an inevitable.
Ultherapy reverses the drooping, it is a safe, non-invasive, non-surgical treatment, it uses ultrasound energy to lift and tighten skin naturally without surgery or downtime.
Through ultrasound energy, heat is emitted from the device. This heat, delivered to the layers of deep skin and muscle, causes the skin tightening and stimulates the production of collagen.
Ultherapy works deep below the surface to stimulate the growth of collagen “without harming the outer layer of skin”. Ultherapy is the Non-Surgical Facelift alternative.
The ultrasound energy treats deep layers of tissue while leaving the surface untouched. This device has been FDA and TGA-approved to lift and tighten the following areas:
- Face Lifting
- Jowl Lifting
- V-Line Jowl Shaping
- Eye Brow Lifting
- Neck Lifting
- Double Chin Slimming
- Lifting Skin Laxity Issues
- Reduce appearance of lines & wrinkles
- Reduction of eye bags
- Skin Tightening
No Toxins or Needles – How Does Ultherapy Works?
The Ultherapy® procedure stimulates collagen production by delivering focused ultrasound energy to the skin’s foundational layer typically addressed in cosmetic surgery—without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. It uses traditional ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to see the layers of tissue they are treating, ensuring the treatment energy is delivered to where it will be most beneficial.
Is Ultherapy Safe?
Unlike lasers, radio frequency, surgery and other technologies, non-surgical Ultherapy bypasses the surface of the skin to deliver the right amount of ultrasound energy at the right depths and the right temperature. This energy triggers a natural response under the skin, jumpstarting the regenerative process that produces fresh, new collagen.
Ultrasound, has been used safely throughout the medical field for more than 50 years—and Ultherapy has been established as safe and effective in over a million treatments worldwide.
Ultherapy relies on ultrasound therapy to deliver its collagen-boosting treatment.

Before Your Treatment
Call our Ultherapy clinic in Sydney to schedule a one-on-one counsultation with our Ultherapy specialist.
During Your Treatment.
After cleansing the skin and identifying the specific areas to be treated, our Ultherapy specialist will apply the ultrasound gel and place the smooth treatment applicator against your skin.
Ultherapy Risks
During the treatment delivery, you will feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited to precise depths, indicating that the collagen-building process has been initiated.
Comfort levels can vary from person to person, but the sensation only lasts while the energy is being delivered. Some patients describe the sensation as a momentary pricking of heat beneath the skin. This is the ultrasound energy being delivered into the tissue, which is how the procedure lifts and tightens the skin. We will discuss oral pain medication options at your consultation.
The length of your treatment will depend on the area being treated and your individual treatment plan. A face and neck procedure typically takes 60-90 minutes, while a chest treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.
After Your Treatment
Since this is a non-invasive procedure, you should be able to resume normal activities right away and experience minimal side effects. Although your skin may appear a bit flushed or puffy immediately after the procedure, any redness should disappear in a matter of hours.
Results from Ultherapy
Some patients see an initial effect right after their treatment, but the real results appear over 2−3 months as new collagen works to lift and tighten skin on the neck, chin and brow as well as smooth skin on the chest.
In the FDA clinical trail, nine out of ten patients had a noticeable, significant lift of the brow line. This resulted in a more open look to the eyes and a more youthful appearance overall. Patients also reported firmer, tighter, ‘better-fitting’ skin in other areas of the face and neck as well. While ultrasound does not duplicate the results of surgery, the Ultherapy procedure has proven to be an inviting alternative for those who are not yet ready for surgery.

Ultherapy Side Effects
People are unique and have different biology hence will react differently to procedures. Just like one person may use a facial moisturizer with no problems while another develops an allergic reaction, treatments like Ultherapy, or any other treatment, can produce problems in certain individuals, especially those with sensitive skin.
Some people have experienced mild to moderate swelling after the procedure, which usually goes away within 24 hours. Others have reported skin and muscle soreness, but this side effect is also temporary. Overall, there are thought to be few side effects associated with Ultherapy by Ulthera, it is best to discuss with our Ultherapy specialist to figure out if this treatment option is right for you.
